PAGEANT VOLUMES

Published by Henry and Co. in London, The Pageant was edited by Charles Shannon and Gleeson White and came out in two annual volumes in 1896 and 1897. The Pageant Digital Edition is based on physical copies in Toronto Metropolitan University Library Archives and Special Collections and the private collection of Guest Editor Frederick King. Our PDFs have been uploaded to the Internet Archive so that a virtual facsimile in flipbook format is available for users.

The Y90s Database of Ornament allows users to study The Pageant’s textual ornaments in individual detail and in comparison to textual ornaments in The Dial, The Evergreen, The Green Sheaf, and The Savoy.

Editor:  Frederick King
